A spread of original 1970s magazines from the Erofemme archive, including Mayfair, Body Shop and Erotic Desire

Erofemme started with a find. As a collector of 1970s erotica myself, I was able to buy the entire stock of magazines from a man in Ghent, Belgium, who used to run an adult shop. When he closed it, everything went up to a family member’s attic — and that is where it stayed.

That attic is now this archive: original men’s and sex magazines from the late ’60s to the early ’80s. From well-known titles such as Mayfair, Penthouse, Gallery and Paris Las Vegas to the harder European titles of publishers like Color Climax and Teresa Orlowski. Every issue is catalogued by title, volume and year, so you can find the exact one missing from your collection.
